Unfortunately, in Russia there are a lot of people bothered by obesity. It’s often concerned with metabolic disease that’s why it’s impossible to lose weight keeping to a diet. The worth is a large abdominal fat deposit that doesn’t respond to diet or exercise. Liposuction helps to resolve this problem. This procedure doesn’t treat obesity but it can return your body to normal.
Surgery technique
Liposuction is usually performed under general anesthesia and takes one to two hours. Through a tiny incision, a narrow tube or cannula is inserted and used to vacuum the fat layer that lies deep beneath the skin. There are a number of new techniques, including ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty (UAL), the tumescent technique, and the super-wet technique.
Duration of stay in clinic: 24 hours.
After your surgery
The pain shouldn’t be severe. After surgery, you'll wear an elastic soft support garment around the clock for 3-4 weeks. After surgery you may still experience some pain, burning, swelling, bleeding and temporary numbness. You will begin to feel better after about a week or two and you should be back at work within a week following your surgery. Surface stitches will be removed in 4-5 days. The scars become less obvious, sometimes eventually fading to thin white lines only a year after the surgery.
